Teams From Utah and San Diego Take Co-Champion Honors at the 47th Junior America’s Cup at Blackhawk

For the first time in over 20 years the Junior America’s Cup has named two teams as Co-Champions of the event with the teams representing Utah and San Diego matching first place scores of 4-over-par at the end of the 54-hole competition. Heavy wind and cooler temperatures were part of the story during Thursday’s final round with gusts of up to 25 miles per hour pounding the Blackhawk golf course in southwest Edmonton over the course of the day.

2019 Junior Americas Cup Round 2 Wrap Up

The second round of the 47th Annual Junior America’s Cup, hosted by the Canadian Junior Golf Association and Blackhawk Golf Club, is in the books as San Diego built on their 1st round lead during a cloudy and breezy day, shooting a 2-under par team total of 211, for a two day total of 416. Tied for 2nd place is Southern California and Oregon.

JUNIOR AMERICA’S CUP SET TO TAKE FLIGHT AT BLACKHAWK

The 47th annual Junior America’s Cup is set to take flight this week at Blackhawk Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta. A field of 72 players from 18 teams representing 12 U.S. States, two Canadian Provinces and Mexico will take to the course at 7:30 am MT on Tuesday in what will be the third time the international competition has been hosted in the province of Alberta.

46th Annual Junior America’s Cup begins July 24th

The 46th Annual Junior America’s Cup will get started on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Golf Course, in Anaconda, Montana. Hosted by the Montana State Golf Association, the event is one of the more prestigious junior tournaments played in the United States each summer.
